Granulated sugar

Basic properties of granulated sugar:
  • White, clear crystals with an average particle size of 0.5 to 1mm.
  • High sweetening power; gives pure sweet flavour to food; reference in sweetness as flavour.
  • Obtained from sugar beet or sugar cane.
  • Granulated sugar standard SU is white sugar (cat.2) in accordance with guideline 2001/111/EC.
  • Several additional functional properties for food.
